This is a new kind of retail that has popped up in Sao Paulo. PSFK have called it micro-retailing and it’s a really good idea that allows people to get their products out there, allowing consumers to interact with the product itself, rather than see it on a quirky website hidden away in web land. The store is called, Endossa, and the idea is kind of like a mini-market; they rent shelf space and don’t take any sales commission. Your product will stay on the shelf aslong as the demand is there, so it’s a win-win situation. It’s a lovely idea by I’m sure lovely people.

How much does shelf rental cost and what are the limitations of the rented space?
